Problems Upgrading to 3 and 3.0.7

I’m on 2.4.3, and it runs, but I would like to upgrade to the newest versions. I was in the middle of development when 3 came out, and I had trouble getting Easy Digital Downloads and Kleo to work so I had to back out the upgrade. Now I’m trying 3.0.7 and it seems even worse.

I’m getting this error on 3.0.7. With no plugins activated. All the permissions were checked and are where they should be.

If I comment out line 1397 in the code I can get the admin interface up, but the home page won’t load. I’d like to see if I can get theme to at least load properly, and then maybe I can start to debug. Any thoughts on this error, I couldn’t find it in the forums.

I’ve seen one mention of that error, but they didnt indicate how it was fixed. Some things to check

1 – Do you have custom code in your child theme that isnt compatible?

2 – Were Kleo files corrupted during install?

3 – Did you purge your cache/cdn if one is in place?

Thanks for that. I tried a few things and got the theme up. I think having a combination of your old files and some other old files on the server led to too many conflicts. I got rid of the old copies and I got the theme running.

Now I have the same problem that I had before with the versions after 2.4.3. They don’t work with Easy Digital Downloads – Front End Submissions. This is an important plugin from EDD that creates a vendor marketplace with EDD. It allows users to manage their own stores, and is the centerpiece of that capability from EDD.

The conflict I’m having is that when FES is activated, the Theme Options menu item on the Admin interface that relates to Kleo is not visible and you can’t change any of the theme capabilities. If you toggle off FES the Theme Options menu comes back on line. It appears that the rest of the functionality works, but there is an incompatibility between these two plugins.

Sorry I dont have any. You can open another topic and perhaps one of the 7th queen people can assists. I’m a user like you and I dont use digital downloads.
