Problems when uploading media with rtmedia

I’m having 2 main problems with RTMEDIA

1. Users can’t upload media
2. MEDIA Tab does not show de UPLOAD option, as shown in the image of DEMO page

In the case 1.- Users start uploading their photo, it shows all right for uploading, but after refreshing the page, nothing was uploaded. If the upload comes with and activity update, then the text shows fine, but without any photo.

If I change the user role (from subscriber to Author) then all works fine.

In the case 2.- For some reason there is no UPLOAD button to be found anywhere on the page.

I manage to solve point 2. There was a shortcode being used that overwrote that function.

Still having issues with 1.

Did you hit up the rtMedia support forum? Maybe its another plugin conflict with something else you have installed.
