Profile edit by user role

Hello, is it possible to have the colored ring around the profile pictures to be a different color based on the member roles? I would really appreciate some help with this, if it is possible. Thank you.

Hmmm, I’m not really sure which role it is. I just really want to have an “author” a different color if possible, I believe that is a WP role. Thank you.

Indeed that is a WP role. I figured that’s what you were referring to, but ever since BP added member types, people confuse the two.

In any case, buddypress doesnt put any special css class on the avatars in order to differentiate them based on role. So, the answer is no.

However, you could custom code the avatar to add a css class like .author, .admin, .subscriber but you’d have to do it all over the place and its beyond the scope of support here.
