November 28, 2015 at 14:13 #89756leuksteParticipantI’m using the open registration form from S2Member Pro. The submitted (registration) data is populated correctly in the profile, but the fields are not formatted like they should. They’re all displayed on one line (see attachment 1).Furthermore, the field data isn’t showing up at all under the “About me’ tab (see attachment 2).
It’s all working fine with other themes, so this seems Sweet Date related.
I found a forum post with a similar problem in the Kleo forum. They found a workaround, but I prefer to correct this issue in Sweet Date and not in S2Member. Besides that, the workaround doesn’t provide a solution for the missing fields under the ‘About me’ tab.https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/user-profile-field-names-on-new-lineparagraph
I hope that somebody knows how to fix this issue. Many thanks in advance!

Thanks!
December 1, 2015 at 17:11 #90335RaduModeratorHi,
Yes i’ve received the messages,
I’ve looked at your website and i see that is require some dedicated amount of time to can made an integration with the plugin.
It seems that the S2Memeber Pro is not compatible with our sweetdate, in that way you should hire a web developer to can help you with the integration or if you know do it by yourself.
Sorry for inconvenience.
Best Regards
Radu
Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionDecember 1, 2015 at 17:21 #90339leuksteParticipantThat’s a bummer to hear. I purchased Sweetdate because S2Member was often advised as a alternative for Paid Members Pro.
Is the incompatibly regarding the profile field code or more of a styling kind? Thanks for looking into it.
December 1, 2015 at 17:28 #90346leuksteParticipantI imagine your theme Kleo uses the same code as Sweetdate and therefore isn’t compatible with S2Member Pro also?
December 2, 2015 at 14:36 #90542RaduModeratorHi,
I’ve just talked with my colleagues and they said the s2Member should be compatible with both themes sweetdate and kleo , and that your layout problem might not be caused by s2Member.
Please try to disable s2Member to see if the profile fields looks the same and make sure that the modifications that you have made are not the cause of the layout problem.
Cheers

Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionDecember 2, 2015 at 15:17 #90558leuksteParticipantThanks for your message, Radu!
Disabling S2Member does make the profile fields disappear totally.
However, editing the profile fields results in normal formatted dropdown boxes. Please see the attached image. It seems that some (css) styling is causing the layout issue’s. But that doesn’t explain why those profile fields aren’t visible in the tab ‘About me’ next to the profile photo.
Thanks!

Please note that this is not related to our theme and involves modifications of buddypress plugin template files.

December 4, 2015 at 19:16 #91255AndreiModeratorIndeed, sorry for the confusion, I’ve read your current thread again and from what it seem s2Member somehow interfers with the buddypress profile/fields interface. It’s only s2Member plugin that you’re using or any other addons on top of it ? Also did you have any custom modifications active on your site ?
If you can please provide me a wp admin user and a ftp account so I can give a closer look at what’s not working correctly .
Looking forward.
Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionDecember 7, 2015 at 17:55 #91686AndreiModeratorNow I can’t identify any issues, is this fixed or was generated by some custom modifications that you might have made ?
Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionDecember 7, 2015 at 19:15 #91715leuksteParticipantThanks for the message, Andrei.
Because of the layout/styling issue’s with the S2Member Pro profile fields, I’ve decided to use Buddypress profile fields. That’s why there aren’t issues visible. If there’s a solution for this problem with S2Member Pro, please let me know, because I prefer to use the S2Member fields instead of the Buddypress fields.
Thanks for looking into it!
December 7, 2015 at 19:25 #91720AndreiModeratorWell, then you have omitted to provide us vital information which would have eased the reply on your issue.
We didn’t made any special integration for s2Member BuddyPress profile fields, that’s why they were rendered without any style, and in which case you should create this styles by your own.
This is not exactly an issue, it’s just a missing styling, I think s2 should have come with some default styles but dunno why they don’t apply.
If you have programming skills or a developer available this should be an easy task …
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
Cheers
Hi there!!! Help others from the community and mark any reply as solution if it solved your question. Mark as a solutionDecember 7, 2015 at 20:01 #91733leuksteParticipantWhich vital information do you mean?
Because S2Member hasn’t got any issues with other themes, I didn’t expect that this would be the case with Sweetdate.
Besides that, this styling issue already exists since march 2015 with some Kleo customers.https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/user-profile-field-names-on-new-lineparagraph
But thanks for looking into it.
December 7, 2015 at 20:03 #91734AndreiModeratorAs I already said, we didn’t approached any advanced integrations on the s2Member plugin.
