ParticipantHello,
The profile matching percent does not work for me. I do not want to work with complementary fields as they are not for the purpose I use the theme, so I disable them. However, I have added some percentages on the matching fields, which seem not to be taken correctly into consideration.
Please see the settings attached.
I have also added a simple example. Profile_1 is the profile of a user looking for a match. City is the main criteria, however, looking into the profile of a different user (ex. profile_matching picture, from a different city I can see 100% match).
Not sure if my settings are wrong but the way how everything works now is not correct.
Thanks for looking into this.

ModeratorHi,
There you should specify a lower value for fields with multi-select options because if two profiles had more than one filed in common it will be counter once.

I’ve added the fields similar to that profile to can reproduce the matching and at first view says 100% that’s because the interest value was 40 or 30 not remember exactly and if we have 2-3 fields in common will do 30*3 = 120 . and the value should be 5 or similar.

Hope it makes sense
Cheers

ParticipantHi Radu,
Thanks for the clarifications. I understand now how it works. In case I would like to hide this (because in many cases it will not be accurate and just confusing for end user) is there a way to do it?
Regards.

ModeratorHi,
The matching circle can be hidden easily using this css.
COPY CODEdiv.circular-item[title="Compatibility match"] { display: none !important; }Add this selector to wp-admin -> theme options -> styling options -> quick css
PS: Salutari din Bucuresti!
Cheers

ParticipantSuper. Ma bucur.
Proiectul e in faza de experiment.
