    Hi 7thQ –

How do we add the ‘progress bar’ to a members profile?

NONE of our members are filling out their ‘extended profile’ because the ONLY way to do that is to logout of our site then they must login to http://siteurl.com/wp-login.phpwhich NO ONE UNDERSTANDS TO DO.

If a member clicks on the ‘profile’ button at the top of the header it simply takes them to their profile – not to their admin.

Thanks for your detailed reply and help.

Hello, that is not right, what they actually need to do to fill their profile info is login and go to
    Profile > Profile > Edit
There is no need to go to wp-login, Buddypress is made so all of that is made from profile menu in frontend.

YOU CANNOT EDIT THE OTHER AREAS OF THE PROFILE THAT WAY! The ‘EXTENDED PROFILE’ is what we want our members to be able to access and edit. WE’VE ALREADY TOLD YOU THIS IN A SEPARATE POST.

    hey @FilipinasForForeigners
An user can edit all the profile fields from front-end, it doesn’t make sense to go in wp-admin…. I don’t know where you get that from. Try to read more on Buddypress.

Here is how the profile edit looks, see the all tabs like Myself summary and all

Maybe you didn’t activate the advanced profiles in your buddypress-settings?
