    Hi,

I tried sending a public message to a friend and it wouldn’t show up on my friends activity feed. My friend also didn’t get any notification that I sent a message to him. Could there be a setting or something that’s prohibiting the public message from being sent to the friend’s activity feed?

I appreciate your help and support,
    Thanks,
    Nicholaus

I should mention the email notification worked, but there wasn’t any indication or notification of a message from the actual site.

    Thanks,
    Nicholaus

    Hi,
If it mentioned you(public message) then you should look under you profile, Mentions. See if it appears there

Thank you for the swift reply as always 🙂 It did show up in the mentions area which is great. Is there a way to consolidate the mentions part to show up on the personal activity part so my members can see all the activity relating to them in one place?

Kind of like Facebook and Twitter, so it’s simple and easy to navigate the activity feed.

    Thanks for the help,
    Nicholaus

    Hi,
Unfortunately I don’t think there is an easy way on doing that. I will let you know if I find anything
    Cheers

Okk, let me know if you find out anything, in the mean time is there a way to notify the user on the site so that they know they have been mentioned?

    Thanks,
    Nicholaus
