Hi, there used to be a plugin called Buddystream that allowed members to automatically pull their social media feeds into the buddypress site wide activity stream. It was taken over by a French chap at http://buddystream.net but has now been abandoned again. Does any one know of a way to achieve this?

Hi according to a reply to @fabioteixei https://mobile.twitter.com/fabioteixei @madgicweb says he is no longer developing it. I can’t find any support. Are you using it. My issue is I have set up cron job but I can’t work out how members tie in their Twitter or LinkedIn accounts or admin for that matter 🙂

@rikbutterflyskull I eventually worked it out – set up is not terribly intuitive, but it does work. Once you have your cron job and your API key from Twitter, members need to go to settings > social networks, obvious once you realise (although social albums are held under profile, which is a bit of a red herring)!

Hope that helps anyone else who is looking to allow members to automatically post their tweets. Hopefully somebody else will pick up the development.
