Question about child theme & video posts

hi creators, admins & mods!

1. how can i install the child theme? sorry, but can’t seem to find the file and instructions.

2. for video posts, is it possible to show the featured image instead of a playable video in the category page and related posts?

Hello 🙂
1) After the main theme installation, upload the child theme to the wordpress theme installation, then activate the child theme, all changes will be done at the child theme, as it works like a mirror for the changes you need to do at the main theme, just copy the file to change at the child theme, following the original path of folders and then di the change. This way your changes wont be lost in future theme updates.

2) Use the post type Standard instead of video, add the video directly to the visual editor instead to the media panel 🙂
