Let’s say I have a portfolio items slider on the homepage. I’m curious if the following is doable:
1. Can this layot be specified for the single portfolio item? http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/portfolio/portfolio-carousel-images/
(Meaning the every portfolio item will describe its own website and the carousel will rotate the pics of that particualr project)2. If it is doable, then can the carousel be adjusted so images in it will be more narrow and taller?
Thanks.

I even slept on it thinking it would make more sense to me over morning coffee. Please help me understand. I’m sorry for not getting it :/

I’ve figured it out, but I have another portfolio related question:I would like to have a home page like this one: http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/home-default/ but also include portfolio gallery like shown on this one http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/portfolio-full-width/
I would like to have portfolio grid included with 2 rows only – is it doable? Thanks.
Elijah.January 18, 2015 at 18:01 #42538ellosParticipantAn another one 🙂
Here http://seventhqueen.com/themes/kleo/portfolio/portfolio-carousel-images/ pictures are placed in the slideshow inside portfolio item. Is it possible to adjust:
a) the height of the carousel
b) to squeeze more pics inside carousel to fit the page. Now it show 4-5 pics and then it has to be scrolled. I’d like to have 10 pics fitting the portfolio page before it gets scrolled. Is it doable? Thanks.
ELijah.January 18, 2015 at 19:50 #42547sharmstrModeratorThe portfolio gallery is just the portfolio shortcode. Just add it to a section in your home page. If you only want two rows then set “items to show” to double the ammount you have set in “Number of items to show”. If you want them to stretch the full width, then make sure you turn off ‘inner container’ on the row.
For the image carousel, you need to change the width of the images. If you have them set to the default 400px wide, then you’d have to have a monitor that was 4000px wide to see all 10 images. Make sense? The height of the carousel is dependent on the image sizes. So if you want to build a carousel where all the images are portrait, then you can change the default 400px to 200×400 or something along those lines. Here’s an example of 10 images with the sizes set to 100×200 http://dev.sharmstr.com/portfolio/portfolio-carousel-images/

As to the rest, no, I have only pretty basic knowledge of woo, for example the modifications you sent regarding the code are so way out of my league 🙂
I’ll send you the link though when the site is done – I’d appreciate your opinion and critique of course.Thanks.
