Register element

Hi,

I loved the new “Home register” demo page and would like to use on my site as homepage with some modifications. However I have some questions.

1. When a user fills that reg form on the home page, the page redirects the user to the default register page of buddypress and asks to fill the other parts of the form in order to register. With that new register element I want my users to be able to register with the register element itself and fill the rest of the reqiured parts after they register. Is that possible in any way?

2. The register element on the page requires the full name of the user, I want get rid of that since I am not looking for their real names. And I want to add to that form gender and city. Is that possible?
