Register with FB: add member type / xprofile data

Hi there,

Is there a way to request users registering with Facebook to select a BP member type (xprofile field)?

I currently only use the BP registration form and have a radio botton to let users select a member type.

I’m looking into implementing login/registering with FB but definitely need to collect additional info stored in xprofile field, such as member type.

This has to be enforced at registration because each member type have different BP profile fields shown to them.

Do you guys know possible options for this?

Locking the user to stay into his profile until he fills up a certain field is possible but will require some custom developments.

Please consider searching for a similar plugin to do the job or either you’ll have to build it by yourself.
