Registration Add First Name and Last Name and Automatic Set Username

Hello.

I need to be able to add into the registration form a first name field and a last name field.

I then need to make it automatically set a username that is a combination of the first name and last name with a fullstop inbetween them.

Example.

Username: [FirstName].[LastName]

Because this will be automatic I then need to remove the username field from the registration form.

Please help as this is a definite requirement.

Hello, to add profile fields go to Users > Profile fields
there is no way to use two fields as username right now, you could change the username field to Full name field
