Registration confirmation emails

Hello – love the theme!

I have viewed all install videos and searched many comments, although I do find questions regarding the same problem I have not found a solution..

The basic site is set-up and I am testing member registration functionality:

I have added the WP-Mail-SMTP  plugin but I am having a problem with the confirmation emails being received (to gmail account)  upon registration. Confirmation emails are not being received.

I created a test email on my server (ex: test1@ticadate.com) and when that email is used for registration the confirmation is received by email.

Additionally the form 7’s are being received by my primary email on the server (admin@ticadate.com)

I have tried various settings on my cpanel but nothing seems to work and have spent many hours googling the problem and have not found a solution – any help would be appreciated – seems to be some conflict between my host and WP but I am at a lost of what else to try.
