Registration Problems

Hi Support, i am new using your themes, trying to figure it out how to use the themes. Have read the user guide, but yet didn’t mention about how to change or edit the registration page. Checked on my registration page (which import from the sample file) doesn’t contain anything.
Also trying to register new user using facebook connect and prompt registration is not allowed.
Please kindly advice. Thanks

Hi stevhong,

1. Under Settings/BuddyPress/Pages at registration section you need to assign your Register page to buddypress Register page.
2. You can define custom fields from Users/Profile Fields.
Fields in the “Base” group will appear on the signup page.

ps: Looking to your site “User registration is currently not allowed.” – go to Settings/General and tick Anyone can register.

I did all of that.

The Facebook button appears on the login window :
http://www.compalove.com

But I do not see Facebook buttons for registration …

I am missing something ?

You need to enable registration on you website from Settings -> General and all buttons will appear.

I already did (if you click on the sign-up buton you will see that it is possible to register)

PS : New User Default Role = Subscriber ?

Yeah works now !
Since the last update of the plugin or cause I modified the page of the app on FB, not sure …
