Since the latest update, our custom changes have reverted back to their original state and we are unable to reinstate them.
The code for removing the hearts (found here https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/removereplace-the-love-hearts-in-site) initially worked, and the hearts were removed. Since the update the hearts have returned to the site, yet the code is still in the child/functions folder.
We were under the impression that changes made to the child file would not be removed with future updates.

Thanks for your reply 🙂 Are you able to advise how we check the child theme is active? We have done a lot of customization in the child theme which is still working so I guess it is active? But am unsure where/how to check.
