Remove meta for Slider Revolution

Sorry if this has been asked and answered but how do I go about removing the meta tag that is created by the Slider Revolution plugin? I cannot seem to find any reference about what needs to be put in the functions.php file to remove the action.

For what it’s worth, I have tried entering

`remove_action(‘wp_head’, array(‘RevSliderFront’, ‘add_meta_generator’));’

But it has not noticeable effect.

Unfortunately this is not a very easy task, in order to do this you will probably need to use a plugin like this as a base: https://github.com/herewithme/wp-filters-extras

Please understand that this will require some programming knowledge.
