remove thumbnail from post

Kleo sticks a large version of the featured image on the top of the post page. Normally one would make a copy of single.php, place it in the child theme, and remove the reference to the thumbnail … but in your version there is no reference to the thumbnail in the single.php code. How do I prevent the thumbnail from appearing?

Go to wp-admin -> theme options -> blog -> Display media on post page* -> no
