Replace Group Cover Image with shortcode for google map

Hi,

I would like to replace the groups cover image with a google map of the group location. I have geomywp plugin which already generates the map with a shortcode [gmw map=”4″] however I would like this to appear as the cover image if there is no cover image uploaded…Is this possible with minimal coding? If so, would you be able to direct me to the location of the code to amend?

Hello, this would require special custom development as you need to edit the group template file for this, i suggest to contact a freelancer that could do this for you 🙂

Hi,

The image it’s placed as background for the container div via CSS with background-image so there it’s not like remove and replace operation.

The file where you can try to workaround that it’s this one : wp-content/themes/kleo/buddypress/members/single/member-header.php

It can be overwritten by copying it into child theme in this path

wp-content/themes/kleo-child/buddypress/members/single/member-header.php
