Restrict users access to your site and redirect them to register page

Hi,

In the KB I have found an interesting article about how to restrict users access to my site and redirect them to register page (https://archived.seventhqueen.com/general/article/private-community-site-redirect-guests-register-page). This is working actually fine, however, when a user tries to activate the link he received after he registered he is redirected to the registration page. The is not able to activate his account.

Can you maybe update the KB article to include this part: allow the activation of the account?

For reset password link I see exactly same issue with the code from the KB. User receives a link like following:

https://mysite.com/resetpass/?key=qKFDOg62xA1adsHc0On5&login=xxx

and when clicked the user is redirected to the registration page instead of the reset page.

Hi Laura,

I was able to solve the issue by myself. I had to deactivate the “Theme My Login” plugin and than the code above worked also for the reset password. For activation page I used a buddypress function bp_is_activation_page() to allow users reaching this page when they are not logged in.
