Hi,
My website has been slowed down because of revolution slider. My site’s home page contains revolution slider in its very first section. Because of the update my site unable to load at its previous speed. Only after removing the slider my site worked properly. Please provide me some suggestion/guidance on this issue.

Hi,

Have you tried to use a cache plugin like W3 Total Cache ?

https://wordpress.org/plugins/w3-total-cache/

Please test it, theoretically it should improve performance.

Hi Radu,
Theoretically it should but practically it is not doing so. Yes I already have installed cache plugins.
Is there any other way of doing this?

Hi,

Go to General Settings -> Page Cache settings – Make sure you have enabled -> Page cache: Enable

Hi,
I meant solving the issue of site slowdown. Currently I have reverted the website to previous version (before update) and its working fine.Also I have cleared the cache. Please let me know when the bugs are fixed with Revolution Slider 5

Hi, our theme does not modify the Revolution slider in any way so it is not related to the theme and maybe there is something about the plugin. we will let know the plugin developers about this and let you know if is a known issue.

Until then try to resave all your slider options and slides and clear you browser cache
