Round vs Square Avatars

This must be an easy fix, but I can’t find a solution. On the demo, all of the avatars in the user profiles are circular and cropped by a grey circle (which seems to be part of the theme, not BuddyPress). I just purchased and installed this theme. When I add an avatar, it shows up as a giant square picture, covering the grey circle. How do I get it to look like in the demo?

It should be a circle by default. So, that either means some other css is overriding it or the rounded class isn’t being applied. Right click on the avatar to inspect it. When working correctly, it should be similar to the attached screenshot.
