Russian language not work

When install the theme in Russian language, the site load server CPU to 100% and error 503 or 504. In English everything is working normally.

Hi,

I suggest you to set your wp website into russian language,then change the theme from kleo to one of default wordpress themes, then check your server loading stats.

I suggest you try yourself to switch language to russian, because after this the admin panel completely freezes and switching the theme is not possible

error in file translate Russian

Hi,

The issue seems to be related to your hosting configuration.

You can try to test if the problem is caused by the russian translation by switching russian language to another language like french,spanish,italian, german etc..

Let me know if with one of that languages you encounter same issue.

If the file “en_us.MO” rename “ru_RU.MO” and replace the original “ru_RU.MO”, then everything works, but some words in the English language. Other languages are included normally.

I have no problems with Russian language any other topic on its servers, except your. If you do not solve this problem within the coming days, I will have you get it back and request a refund. Because I have stopped the process of creating a website for the customer.

This seems to be an isolated issue on your server, we have tested it again and it works fine on our site.

Please provide wp admin credentials and FTP account, and it would help to have access to your site resource monitor, so we can debug the issue.

Hello guys,

After spending some serious time debugging this issue we’ve founded that is a very isolated issue which appears just under some web server versions, more exactly on those which runs on php-fpm.

The issue is generated because of the way the Russian characters are encoded while processing the translation file. We didn’t managed to find a full solution yet, but I can provide you a quick fix which will temporary disable the translation for the Theme Options panel and it will remove any negative impact of this problem.

Of course, this is just a temporary patch and we’ll get back asap with a full solution.
To apply this patch you will need to replace the following file: “wp-content/themes/kleo/lib/options.php” with the one provided in the attached zip archive.

I’ll get back to you with more details as soon as we have a complete fix for this issue.
