Hi, I use Kleo and buddypress. In a user’s profile page I see that all field groups have the same name even though I have 3 fields with different name. The name depends on which field group you want to edit. as per attached picture. Please help.

Make sure you don’t have group fields with same name

I see that have some modifications in child theme and few plugins that kleo doesn’t come with these.
I suggest you do test if the problem dissappear if you disable all plugins that not comes once with kleo and disable kleo child theme.Let me know if this solve the issue.

Modifications in child theme relate to rtmedia and I am pretty sure that they do not have anything to do with this issue.(not that hard)
2. So you suggest that I should disable plugins and Kleo child and check if this solves the issue. Ofcourse it will solve the issue! (In such a case I will have the Kleo theme by it itself without plugins and addons and it will work like new – It would be just the same if you said: “I see… well..delete everything, download Kleo, install and start over, let me now if this solves the issue…”)
Sorry but I came to you because I thought you were professionals and you can look at the code. I even gave you administrative rights to my site to check the plugins, the code and everything related to my site. Such a waste of time. Well, what to do.. this is reality and I have to deal with it.

This test is very important since it will tell if is related to our theme so we can fix it or not.
Since on our demo site and our other testing sites this is not an issues that is why my colleague suggested it could be related to a plugin or some customizations.
Pleae try to activate first wp default theme with the same configuration and see how it goes and if is still an issue then disable some plugin to see where is coming from

If you asked me I would give you my permission to disable them since you know better to what the issue might relate to. I’m an economics guy..not computer science. That is the reason why I come to you for help, followed your instructions as per above, gave you administrative rights etc. Don’t worry though, I get it. I Will find my self the issue..(deactivate plugins..activate first wp default etc.) thanks.

We help you with any bugs that you find but please do the tests to ensure we are talking about something related to the theme.

Just found out that for some reason WPML String Translation plugin has something to do with it. When I deactivate this then everything is back to normal.

Most probably this is a conflict between kleo,bp and wpml, and will require some time for investigating and fixing.
We will investigate this issue and we will get back to you. If this issue will be reproduced like you have described, this will be fixed in a future update.
