I’m having an issue finding the css to change the colour of the text in the shortcode search box to white. For some reason it changes in IE but not in firefox or chrome.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The text is white when you type. If you’re talking about the placehoder color, you need to add css for the different browsers: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2610497/change-an-inputs-html5-placeholder-color-with-css
