Search box text style

Hi

can you please give me some styles to change the color of the text in the search box?

 

I like the search box as it is (white background) but because my text is white I need the search box text to be black.

ps it would be good if it’s possible to change the color of the ‘searching’ rotating circle thing in the search box too thanks.

don’t worry I think I figured out how to do it:

.ajax_s {
color: black !important;
}

.icon-spin6 {
color: black !important;
}

That seems to do the trick. Hopefully that won’t screw anything else up.
