Search in menu bar problem

When I search for a member by name or username from the ajax search box in the menu bar, I get no results returned. In fact I have real names hidden so only want to search for username, but I think it should search for both.

Could you explain how this can be done please.

Hi, Right now Buddypress is taking wordpress username and you can’t select it from profile fields to search.
