search menu not longer

Hello again everybody. I have an  issue is there a way that i can bring back the search option that was suppose to be there before? the one that says

I am

looking for

from

 

and also the little search icon that i marked on the right side, is there a way that i can take it out from the page?

Hi,

To disable the search option within the main menu please go to WP Admin > SweetDate > Layout Settings > Option: ‘Ajax Search in menu’ toggle to off.

To add a horizontal search to the members directory please go to WP Admin > Users > Profile Search, select your desired search for and edit. Once opened select ‘Yes’ for ‘Add to directory’ and ‘members/bps-form-horizontal’ for ‘Form Template’ under the panel titled ‘Add to directory’ (see screenshot).

Hello there, sorry for the late reply. I did what you told me and about the searching symbol on the right I got able to remove it. THANK YOU!!!

My only issue is the searching field. Before my searching field was in the search link menu that i replaced changing the name ( before it said buddypress) and I just wanted to take out some fields that i didn’t know. which is the first pic. I liked the option how it looks and I wanted to keep it.

In the second picture my whole search field disappeared and now I just had a long bar that says “search” I just want it to have it like before, maybe was some page that i deleted? I really dont know. Please if you guys can help me to bring back the search field I would be so thankful. Thanks for your time.

You did not have the form set to enabled in directory or for horizontal position. I have enabled the BP Profile Search form for you.

Hello again I realized that in the section of User – profile search on the side where it says add to directory I choose “members/bps-form-horizontal” but when i go to my members page nothing is showed, but when i choose “members/bps-form-legazy” I shows me the blue search field the one that is in the main page. Is it possible that maybe i deleted the “”bps-form-horizontal”? because that is the only explanation of why is not showing the members search field.

Hey there Radu. Thanks for your answer. I didn’t realized that after sweetdate 3.0 I don’t have to check all the search form customization, my apologize. I cant access to my web neither. I don’t know why, since yesterday. Anyways I’m trying to fix that problem and then I let you know how was it. Thank you so much and again sorry for make you write the same thing like 5 times.

Just came back from many tries. My web no is back to work, I had to do a backup because i didn’t know exactly how to fix my problem of the “This website is temporarily unavailable, please try again later.” ( I’s so glad that I did a backup before this happen ) Once i back it up and everything worked well again it also did to the search field in member menu, so now I see the search bar again. Thank you so much for your time guys. I’m gonna keep working on my site again. I am gonna leave this topic as a resolved. Thank you so much again.
