Search result page: Sidebars & some theme elements are not loading

Hello Radu et al,

We’re having a problem with the Search Result page (eg. /?s=test) — it is not loading the sidebars properly any longer, and is breaking unless the functions.php is oversimplified to a point at which it becomes unusable. This is only a problem on the Search Result page…. other pages display sidebars & shortcodes no problem.

I think this is a recent problem, perhaps caused by a Theme Update? …not sure.

Here’s a screen. How can I ensure the Search Result page works properly, like the other pages all do?
