search results not being sort out by city

I had registered a person from the city of Seattle to my site. how ever when I do a test search by city all the people from the same gender comes out as a result which is good but they are not broken down by city. any settings that I could had missed?

Hi, You cannot order them by city. There is only the default Buddypress sorting
