Search results showing Visual Composer shortcodes

Hi,

I couldn’t find anything about this in the knowledge base –  When I do a search, the Visual Composer shortcodes are showing up in the search results. Do I have some of the settings wrong?  WP Bakery commented on CodeCanyon:

“If you see shortcodes in your search results, that means that your theme doesn’t apply shortocodes filter on the_content on search results page. Try asking theme author about this.”

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Update all plugins and the theme check again, if it’s the same de-activate child theme, if it’s the same provide an account to can see the issue live on your site.

I think this may be a result of the BP Global Search plugin- I’ll do some more checking to confirm.

Ok, let me know about that, but anyway, buddypress global search should be able to run shortcodes not to display them
