Set background color for Text

Hi,

Is there a way to set background color for text? I don’t want to set it universally/across the theme, but for select text fields only.

I’m displaying text over an image (background), and need to increase contrast without treating the image. Essentially trying to set a dark background for a light text, so it reads better.
