Set default values for Post Meta

Hi support

I see a lot of posting requesting to hide post meta in Posts.
However, I do not wish to hide it totally using css or using Kleo configurations page
WHat I’m hoping to achieve is to set default value to the following;
Hide Post Meta : TRUE (checkbox)

Can you please advise?

Theme Options > Blog > Display post meta = Off

Thank you for your reply
Yes I know of this feature in the theme options.
HOwever, this will display post meta off for all the postings.
I am wishing to display post meta on selected blog articles.
Most of my articles do not need the post meta, hence I wish to set the default to “checked” in “Hide Post Meta” field.
How do i do that?
