Setting up a staging/test site

Hello

I want to set up a staging/test site with another domain than my live site.
This will make support much easier and the content will be completely SFW.

I just spoke with rtMedia and they suggest the folloging. I would like to know if this is ok for your theme as well.

1. change the licenses to the test site
2. receive updates on the test site first
3. test everything on the test site
4. get support on the test site
5. Once everything is ok copy the complete plug-in folder (and theme if there where changes) to the live site

Thanks for double checking. But this will make testing and support much easier in the future.

Hello, well some changes are also stored at the database, but for CSS and code changes there shouldn’t be any issue, si it is a good idea. But to use kleo at another domain you would need another license even if it’s a test site. The license is for an individual domain.
