Setting up membership privileges

I need to setup members with a different abilities to affect other members.

I have a base membership as “player” that can message their own group and view other group’s information. A player can post in some forums but not in the scheduling forum.

Then there is the  coach membership that is allowed to contact other groups and post in certain scheduling forums to setup scrimmages.

Then I have a mentor level that is able to assign coaches inside their group and is able to message anyone inside and out of the team in any capacity.

I’m having trouble finding tutorials or a way to handle this.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello, those customizations are related to pmpro plugin so you might need to create codes for them. For example if you need to assign something of another plugin, you need to create a code that integrates pmpro with that plugin and that capability. I suggest to contact a freelancer that can do this for you 🙂

Would all aspects of what I am trying to figure out require special code?
I’m not going to be charging for these levels so what membership pro offers isn’t really what I’m looking for after going through it.
Would there be a better plugin to purchase instead of membership pro?

Hello, you can see the current options at theme options > memberships and also at pmpro forum they share many custom codes, but for what you want i think you may need to hire a developer
