Hi,

 

I have some questions reagrding settings

 

1, I have forums in my top menu now but is it possible to ad forum title to profile menu instead, as for now forums only show if members is active in forum but how should a member find the forum if a remove from the top site menu

2, One of my site shows the profile page and force profile image when member register and sign in and the other site shows membership levels, i have compared the settings and plugins and they are the same in both sites so i wonder hos to make setting so new members see their profile and force profile image upload when they sign in instead of membership levels and forced payment.

3, When a members pays i must activate users membership manually under users, problem is that if I choose for example 1 month under expiration it shows 1 year automatically, how to change that so it shows correct expiry date automatically

4, In my cloned sites it still shows the mail from first site in activation emails to new members even if i changed all mails in admin, is there somwhere else the mail should be changed like in database, it shos like this <firstsite@gmail> Second Dating site name

5, I use woocommerce with paidmembership and paypal but cant get the orders paid by paypal to autocomplete orders and i have tried to change the IPN adress in paypal but cant get it to work, do you have any solution for this

6, I have looked in my files to translate following sentences but cant find them

Hello,

1. This might require some custom developments in order to achieve what you want in the members profile. I recommend you to keep the forums link in the main menu.

2. If your site doesn’t function the same means that there are some differences in plugins or with custom codes added to the functions.php file.

3. If you want to set an ongoing/unlimited monthly recurring profile just don’t set a expire date, expire date will remove the membership level even if it’s paid on time, setting it an monthly interval will automatically remove the level if it’s payments fail.

4. Yes, I recommend you to use phpmyadmin to search your database.

5. I recommend you to not set any ipn address under paypal settings in your account, leave the ipn on but don’t set the url, this way each plugin will pass the correct ipn return url attached to each order and paypal will know to ping back to the right plugin ipn url, setting a url in paypal you will force the ipns to ping just that url.

6. I recommend you to use a plugin like “Loco Translate” for managing your translations. Or if you want to do it online you should use a software like POEDIT where you will have to use the .pot ( translation template file ) to create a new translation.

2, How can members images change if someone for example register om akutdating.se the anothe members profile image at vegetariandating.se change to the members on the other site, both members use own email adress and sites use own database

3, If i understand you correctly, I should not set any expiry date if members paus for 1 month or 1 year and then their membership just expire but profile is still there, if i put exipry date then the profile is removed, please see attached screen if this is correct

5, I have tried to leave IPN emptu but get error message saying I cant have IPN on and that field be empty, any solution to this

I also wonder if I have free membership how I can make them autocomplete after registration as member should not pay anything, as it is now i must log in to user and activate free membership

2. This will be subject of some custom developments, no easy quick solution for this one.

3. The profile won’t be removed just that the user won’t have access to the restricted content you set for it’s membership level.

5. You could try to find a plugin to route your ipns to multiple locations, i know there are a few such plugins but I can’t recommend you a specific one.

2, Seems you did not understand what i meant, this is an error happening and nothing i want to add
How can it be that someone register at one of my sites and this members profile picture ens up on a totally different site at another members profile

3, So should the “cancel user subscription at gateway” be ticked or not if the members profile not be erased after subscription ended, i dont want members profiles erased after their subscription ends as they should have the possibility to prolong the subscription

2. It totally depends on the way you have configured your sites to work, besides the gravatar system that shows the same avatar by the email you’re using on your account there shouldn’t be any other issues, like uploading an avatar on a site and seeing it on another site.

3. As I’ve previous said, the profiles won’t be affected, at payment failure they will just be locked from accessing the restricted content. They can go at any time in the members levels page and opt for another membership level.

2, members have different emails on different sites with diffrent databses, still some members profile images end up on other sites…its a mistery for us

3, So should the “cancel user subscription at gateway” be ticked or not when i activate members manually, just answer yes or no

2. It might be an issue produced when you cloned your website, probably there are some old avatar urls in the database still pointing to your old site.
