Shortcodes – Documentation lacking

Hi there

So far I’ve been happy with the theme, but one thing is really bugging me. The lack of documentation around short codes!

Am I missing something? Some (but not all) are mentioned in the documentation here:

Some are shown here, but many pages do not have the actual short codes showing and the configuration options showing, like this one:

For example, how do I add a tooltip and how do I make it animate and flash? I have had to trawl through demo content to spot components I am trying to find out more about, import them and look at the page setup to see how to set up some of these. Then to work out how to make it flash I googled ‘kleo_pin type’ and found lots of people live site that had accidentally kept you page above and were listing out the codes as they had not been setup correctly (here is an example https://nooshtube.com/tooltips-popovers/). That was the only way to see how to make it flash!!

 

Also, on the page creation in the admin dashboard, the kleo button to add kleo content, some more details on some of these are needed I think please, for example what is a magic container?

 

Sorry if I have missed some documentation here, but it appears there is quite a bit missing form my many searches for it.

And get the error message also and also no icons at all. That is all the code on this page. I’m version 4.1.2 and all up to date

Hi,

For the moment I cannot see what you have built with VC on your website because I see that you have de-activate Visual Composer.

Tell me what you need to achieve, you want a pulsing pin ? The documentation should be updated cuz meanwhile we have developed and implemented new features, tell me and i will help you.

Hi

Visual composer is very much activated on my site and working as I have been mucking around with it for quite some time! Why do you think it is not active?

I’m still working out what I want to have as my layout by looking at the tools kleo and visual composer come with, but thank you for the offer of help. When I know more, and if I get stuck I will ask, but up to date documentation in the meantime would help, as it will help me plan based on what is available. Without knowing what is possible and the tool available it is hard to plan the layout!

I thought the VC it’s inactive because i saw this page : https://nooshtube.com/tabs-pills/ rendering all shortcodes not running it.

In future we will improve our documentation
