Show javascript dependent on user level or whether they are logged in

Hi there,

 

Is there a way to show a javascript snippet only to logged in users, or only to members of a certain level?

I want to put some scripts in the footer (or header) of the page that apply to all pages, and I’d rather not edit the core functions in the theme like footer.php. Is there a way to conditionally display a script based on memberlevel/login state? Similar to how the shortcodes for this work within posts and pages.
