Show only male or only females

Hi,

During registration a question is asked if person is male or female. (I am a, looking for a)
Is there a way that if a person chooses male, only females are shown and viceversa?

Maybe with shortcodes?

Thanks for the workaround, doesn’t seem to work for me. It still shows both woman and men. It seems this issue have been there for a year and even longer. I bought this theme, as I thought it was a theme for setting up a dating site, with basic functionality like this. I am disappointed that this feature is not build in. 🙁

Can you help me getting this to work?

Hello, the theme doesn’t have that feature still, but we are working on it and going to add new features in future releases.
That code is just a base and is not a theme issue

Very disappointed in your answer, that is this not a theme issue, I think it is. As for any dating site it should at least separate males from females. I think if this feature is not build in you cannot call this a dating theme!

This should be prio #1, as without this feature I cannot take my site in production, as the whole site will be a laugh.

It is not a theme issue, because a theme issue means something in the theme is not working. This feature was never advertised with the theme.

Some things are just self explanatory and don’t need to be advertised. And in my opinion, this is one of them. If I see dating, I automatically assume that if I fill in my gender and what I am looking for I will see what I am looking for and not otherwise. Anyway, I cannot launch the site without this feature. I regret spending money on something that I cannot use.

Hello, all theme features are described at the themeforest page, we do not let things self explanatory because of this kind of confusion, if you do not see something described at the theme and is not either at the demo, which is available so you can test all theme features, then it’s not there. You can’t blame us for not having, right now, something that we never said we had. Also this doesn’t mean we are not going to have this feature, as the theme keeps growing.
