when I point to the link http://mywebsite.com#show-login, the website always redirect me to http://mywebsite.com/#show-login.

Which could be the problem?

Hello, the modal shows on click, when you click at the menu item 🙂
I suppose you want to make it appear on page load, that is not available right now
