Show video instead of featured image

Hi,

Is there a way to show a vimeo/youtube video instead of the featured image on posts? I am using the post grid element on my homepage and at the top the featured image shows up. I have each post format set to “video” and I have a vimeo video in the content but the posts still only show the featured image and not the video.

Also, is there a way to show the share buttons in the post grid element so people can share the post without having to go to the single post to share it?

Hi,

I have logged into your site and found the following

– You are using the Visual Composer posts element and not KLEO Posts element, I have added the KLEO Posts element so that you may now see the video instead of image thumbnail.

– I have set the video to be used for the post with the URL /pellentesque-habitant-morbi-2-2/. You need to scroll past the editor down to ‘Theme General Settings’ click on the ‘Media’ tab and set the value for the field titled ‘Video oEmbed URL’ (see screenshot). Currently you will have two videos on your post as you have the video embedded in the post content too. You should remove the video from the post content.

Currently there is no way to use the share buttons within the shortcode grid as it would inherit the page where the shortcode appeared. That is to say if the share buttons appeared in the KLEO Posts element on the contact page the share URL would be the contact page and not the post.
