show/hide Nav-tabs and sub-nav tabs based on the user role

hello there,

i need to show and hide tabs based on the user roles . my site have two main roles [candidate and employers] . i want to show specific tabs and sub nav for each of them based in the role .. for example , i have X tab , i want to show this tab for any user with role employer .. and want to hide it for all users with role candidate EXCEPT the current candidate user ,the owner of the profile .. and i need to do the same with sub-nav too
