I have created a custom post type named “game” and a page pointing to it named “games”
I have created a sidebar named “games”. The point is the page is not showing the widgets I placed in this sidebar, but only the ones from the main sidebar.
this is for the myarcade starter and myarcade theme integration plugins .
I have tried the solution below but didn’t work for me.https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/sidebars-for-custom-post-type
Any way to assign the “games” sidebar to this page?
July 23, 2015 at 13:48 #69605sharmstrModeratorIf you also created a page template for the cpt then within that template you can call your games sidebar as noted in #2 here: http://www.carriedils.com/sidebar-custom-post-type/
If you dont understand templates and didnt create one, you can use a conditional widget plugin: http://ghost1227.com/2014/01/review-wordpress-conditional-widget-plugins/

July 24, 2015 at 21:07 #69901giorgosParticipantThanks @sharmstr. I use dynamic widgets and it works for the widgets. I still can not have the page controlled by kleo in “edit page” theme general settings section.
July 25, 2015 at 16:15 #69971sharmstrModeratorYou need to add it. https://archived.seventhqueen.com/forums/topic/add-kleo-meta-box-to-custom-post-type
That solution is a bit old, so you’ll have to copy the latest code from /lib/metaboxes.php to get all of the latest fields and options.
