Sitemap errors and conflict with the child theme

Hi,

I’m getting this error as below

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document

Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

I disable all plugins and enable only Yoast, still the same issue. I checked if there was any white space in the child theme but nothing.

And one more thing i noticed is that while trying to save anything in child theme it is causing an error.

Can you please assist.
