I have imported the slider from the demo-content.
I think that the right thing to do is include the code: <?php putRevSlider(“HomeFullwidth”,”homepage”) ?>
But I don’t know in which file. I have tried functions.php in the child theme, but I don’t get the slider on the homepage.
Can you please help?

To add revolution slider you can do this from visual composer. Take a look at the attach print screen.
Thank you,

For the homepage I use the option “latest posts” (not sure what the option is called in English). I don’t see an option to use visual composer.
I also noticed that you us transparent menus on the homepage, but not on the other pages. Where do I find that setting?
Thank you

Now I can add the image and make menu transparent like I want. I just can’t find a way to use the image full with of the page. I add a screenshot. There are still two white bands at the side. The resolution of the picture is higher than the page size.

Please take a look now. The row where you add the slider should’t have a container option active.
Thank you,

That does indeed look a lot better. I notice that I am still having a problem with position of text, which seems out-centered. Both the text that appears on top of the slider as the grid below is positioned too much to the right. I have checked all of the margins, but I can’t find a problem.

You can drag the elements on the slider from the slider settings. You need to go to edit slide first. Please take a look at the screenshots attached.

I thought both problems were connected because both the text on the slide and the text in the featured items are off-centered to the right.July 14, 2014 at 11:34 #22492CatalinModeratorPlease send me a screenshot with your issue and explain me better how to help you.

The problem comes from adding a column inside a column and adding to it 20px margins. if you remove those values the page looks right.
Take a look at the screenshot.
Thank you,
