I have a Slider Revolution set of slides on my home page above the fold and suddenly the slides are not linking to the posts that they were linked to. The settings still all look the same on the back end. The slides are linked and used to work when clicked, but now no more. And the links still show as enabled on the slider settings for each slide.

No matter what browser I tested it on, Chrome (which is what I normally use), Firefox, Safari, or Edge, it does not work. I can click anywhere on any slide and it does nothing. Tested it on two other computers too.

I can get it to work sometimes on some slides, but then other times on other slides it doesn’t work. Some slides work sometimes, then reload the page then they don’t work. And vice versa. There doesn’t seem to be any real pattern as to which ones work and which ones do not. And checked the back end again, and they are all set properly and should link to their respective posts.
November 8, 2016 at 23:58 #143445csloanParticipantJust FYI, due to a company event we are having tonight for the elections here, I had to change the home page slider to a static image, so that when clicked the image would take the visitor to the page. I did try using Slider Revolution to do this by just creating a new slide with one background image and as a “hero scene”, but that wouldn’t link either. So I deleted the Slider Revolution element from the home page and just put a single image element in there, used the slide image at full size and full width and linked it.
The issue described in this ticket can still be viewed at:

Maybe a plugin compatibility problem ? or some of your custom code ?
If you put the slider in a new empty page it works ?
FYI : You website cannot be reached
