Slow searching

Hi,

I have about 60000 profiles in the website with the sweetdate theme, but searching for members is very slow. Sometimes it lasts almost a minute for a search or to open a profile. Can I do something about this?

Hello, it depends on how many plugins you have, some of them may be slowing down your website. Maybe its your hosting

I think it’s the structure of the database. Another question. Can I automatically apply a certain membership based on profile fields. For example, all women who register get a free extended membership.

I get also a lot of spam profiles each day, is there a certain plugin to block this? Akismet doesn’t.
