Good day,
I am trying to utilize the snapchat and other new icons from within the KLEO icons list, however the icons do not show even after following through the video to apply fontello icons. I’d say that the instructions are either not as clear as they should be or they are incorrect in the first 2 steps requiring clicking the upload/import. Any help is appreciated in getting the new font awesome icons

I think the issue happens because there it’s an extra folder in the path ‘fontello’
The original parent theme url for fontello it’s :
https://hughstonemusic.com/wp-content/themes/kleo/assets/css/fontello.css?ver=4.3.11
ANd in your child it’s the next:
https://hughstonemusic.com/wp-content/themes/kleo-child/assets/fontello/css/fontello.css?ver=4.3.11
There you will have to move up in parent folder meaning all files and folders from
https://hughstonemusic.com/wp-content/themes/kleo-child/assets/fontelloshould be moved in
https://hughstonemusic.com/wp-content/themes/kleo-child/assetshttps://archived.seventhqueen.com/kleo/article/use-custom-fontello-icons-kleo-theme

All should be ok, did you had re-saved theme options ? just press save options.
Empty purge all caches…

Meanwhile entered on your dashboard to do those for you and it takes effect now (there you forgot to re-save theme options and to clear the cache)
And here’s the fontello css file containing you new icon.
So the procedure it’s working with exception that you had leaved only this one icon, you should check beside the rest the additional that you need.
So re-do again the procedure but not delete all of the old icons cuz they are using in other parts of the theme, i recommend you to add the icons that you need beside the exiting ones.

After you had done what i had said above ?

So you had done that with a single thing exception you had removed all of those and you had checked only the snapchat, so when you upload the json file there, leave the initial checked icons, and check your additionally desired ones. Then do the same and most important re-save theme options because transients need to be refreshed in DB
