Social Article Question

Hello,

I am building a website for my client in my backend of my existing domain then i will move the website into the main client domain.

I have created a custom taxonomies named communities for my members. My website is for creative people displaying there art. So my questions is when a person creates a new article can he linked to the custom taxonomies instead of default category dropdown? Any help would be appreciated. By the way thanks for this wonderful theme, you guy are genius 🙂

With that said, I believe that Buddyblog does that ( I think ) http://buddydev.com/plugins/buddyblog/
