I use Kleo, BuddyPress, and BBPress and am having issues setting up social login. I’ve tried both WordPress Social Login and Social Login by Oneall. The buttons appear on the login screen, but after using them (and redirecting to social account), the login/registration doesn’t take place. Has anyone overcome this? Is this a conflict with the built in facebook login?

February 21, 2015 at 05:21 #46953sharmstrModeratorCreate an account on OneAll’s site. It will tell you how to do everything.
You need to understand how accounts are handled in wordpress. There is only one account. Lots of plugins have thier own registration, but they all tie back into the WP account. The only difference with Buddypress is that it uses X-Profile for extra profile information during sign up. Oneall and others that I’ve seen do not touch that data. How could they?
If you require more information than avatar, name and email, then you need to have people register on the site and only use Oneall to login after.
You should contact whatever developers for more information.

So, either I’m missing a step or there is something that is incompatible. I’m having the same issue with WordPress Social Login, so I’m at a bit of a loss. It could be that I require an additional field for registration; however, I’ve tried to add my social accounts to an existing WordPress account to use for future login and have been unsuccessful.
